Poppin Up at Palulu Love

Yesterday I walked in the Palulu Love Pop Up fashion show at Shepstone Gardens in Mountain View, Johannesburg.

Now if you don't know as yet know what Palulu Love is, it is an outdoor, relaxed pop up retail event created by Palesa Mashiyane where some of the country's trendiest fashion designers set up a stall and sell a selection of their latest designers.

Guests at this weekend's event, MC'd by actor Jafta Mambolo and model and presenter Naomi, were welcomed with (free!) cocktails by Martini South Africa and everyone got to network amidst the sounds of a live dj. 19 designers, including AMEN Bouture, Fabrosanz, GALXBOY, My Sister's Closet Boutique, According to Jerri, and PH Boutique, popped up and as the models, we showcased 2 designs from each designer.

I modelled 3 looks but my favourite was definitely this golden gem of a dress from Abiah Mahlase and Bradley Muttitt's super edgy AMEN Bouture.
