Sunglass Hut Deluxe launch party

What a whirlwind week! The launchfest at Sandton City, Johannesburg, started with the 4th annual Sunglass Hut Deluxe experience on Tuesday, 8 November at the Fountain Court. The Sunglass Hut Deluxe experiences showcases the best of brands such as Versace, Stella McCartney, Bvlgari, Tom Ford and Ray-Ban housed by Sunglass Hut in 480sqm of style and sunglasses.

So you can imagine my delight especially when trying those Prada cat-eyes below. Celebs, media folk, and sunglass lovers all revelled in the chance to purchase 100 one-off styles at the launch, so the expert style advice from the Sunglass Hut style advisors was definitely needed! Jen Su, Oscar Pistorius, Riaan Venter, Tamara Dey, Sonia Booth, Rosie Motene, Lerato Moloi, Thulane Hadebe, Roxy Burger (*pauses for breath*) etc etc were all at the event. Marie Claire SA editor, Aspasia Karras, also gave us a super informative fashion brief that tied the current fashion trends with the eyewear.

It was an all around fun night with Seth Rotherham of 2Oceansvibe Radio broadcasting from the event, and the ever-lovely Jeannie D, of Top Billing, as the host. You'll be happy to know that the Deluxe experience ends on the 14th of November at the Fountain Court, so I suggest you get to Sandton and get yourself a much needed pair of sunnies in this Joburg heat!
