So I finally found the lost camera that housed, amongst others, pictures from the Guess 30 Sexy Years Party Anniversary Event at the Hope School in Westcliff, Johannesburg, a couple of weeks ago. That night we were treated to the sight of the beautiful Guess Spring 2012 collezione, as well top SA acts and some very delicious all-American cuisine (burgers+hot dogs+red velvet cupcakes+macaroons=love, marriage, babies...).

Die-hard Guess fans will recall that Claudia Schiffer became a household name when she was just 19, after starring in her first Ellen von Unwerth-shot Guess campaign in 1989. Now, 23 years later, Schiffer stars in the Guess 30th anniversary campaign as a woman who not only epitomises the brand as the original "Guess girl", but one who has also turned it into something quite special. This party was a great example of why we've associated Guess with style and sexiness over the years.  I must commend the organisers of the event, Lucky No.8, for a fantastic event. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and judging from the fact that literally every Joburg-based celebrity and fashionista was there, there is no doubt that the event was a success.
